Atelier Oil Painting - Practical Training Courses

Join my small-group intensive courses in mastering oil painting techniques, hosted in my Atelier flat in Amsterdam Central-East. This 4-day course is designed for everyone, from complete beginners to established artists, who want to deepen, refine, and diversify their technical approach. You will receive expert instruction in traditional and contemporary oil painting methods, materials, and processes. Oil Painting Techniques Impasto & Glazing; Learn the techniques and materials used by the great masters, taught at a high, museum-quality standard. This course is ideal for anyone who wants to understand oil painting both technically and historically—whether to enhance their own artistic practice or to explore the methods behind our rich and complex art history. You will study the techniques of the high Renaissance Italian masters, the Dutch and Flemish masters and the Impressionists.

About the Instructor

Marianne Hendriks has over fifteen years of experience in the creative industry and has been working as a professional fine artist for eight years, specialising in traditional oil techniques.She has extensive knowledge of materials and their applications, works both independently and in collaboration with galleries and diverse clients, and has a strong background in presentation and organisation. Marianne is passionate about sharing her expertise, knowledge, and artistic insight.
